| 9:00 p.m. Saturn is the yellow star in the Eastern sky, above it, are
the Pleiades (plee-a-dees) or better known as The "7 Sisters". There
are actually more than 7, but these are very young, hot BLUE
Stars! These are beautiful to view in a telescope
or even inexpensive binoculars.
Later, the Moon, Jupiter, and Regulus are in good view by 12:30 a.m.
and stand high in the sky at first light.
Jupiter
looks like a brilliant star to the upper right of the Moon as they climb
into view. Regulus is a bright star to the Moon's right.
